Betting Overview
Headlining was Jon Rahm, who was the winner of this event in 2018. However, the market has adjusted recently to show the new favorites in Patrick Cantlay, Brooks Koepka, and even Patrick Reed after Rahm was forced to withdraw on Monday.
One golfer to watch is Koepka, who will be making his debut for 2021. Injuries plagued the former number one golfer in the world in 2020, and, as a result, Koepka was winless for the first time in his career.
Other big names playing in the field include Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Sungjae Im, Phil Mickelson, Francesco Molinari, Scottie Scheffler, Matthew Wolff, and Gary Woodland. All of these golfers vary in their world golf rankings and have performed well in this tournament at some time or another.
One key that will help determine a winner is the driving distance and putting. These two are not guaranteed for a player to dominate but, of course, makes the picks easier. Distance, for example, will be a great advantage that will mostly be utilized on the Par 5s at the Stadium Course.

Golfers That Could Win
Kevin Na (-5.509)
Fresh off of the Sony Open, Na is one favorite to place high in this tournament. He has also scored a record-low 62 at the Stadium Course, so he definitely knows how to play here.
In addition, he also moved up in the world rankings and looks to continue climbing from the 38th spot to now 24th.
Scottie Scheffler (-11.325)
Scheffler ranks 33rd in the PGA Tour world rankings and is coming off a 13th-place tie recently at the Kapalua Plantation Course in the Tournament of Champions. The 24-year-old has a lot of potential to steal this from some of the other professionals in play.
Potential Winning Pick
Patrick Cantlay (-6.352)
The 10th-ranked golfer in the world has a lot of momentum. He has two top 10 finishes for the 2021 season and is slightly ahead of some of the other top golfers in play.
He is already on pace to double what he accomplished in 2020, especially with a win at the ZOZO Championship and placing high at the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Look for him to have solid play and stay near the top to close out the last few days.
